我的AIA 医药卡 既然需要我付费35%的医药费 《有图有真相》
我在这分享我的AIA医药卡的索赔事件以让AIA医药卡持有者及大众做一个参考。
我的儿子（2岁多），因为发高烧去医院（Sunway Velocity Medical Centre)看急诊。
过后，被要求入院医治。我们就拿出第一次使用的AIA医药卡。
做了一切的手续，就入院治疗。儿子到高烧退了又来，甚至去到接近40C。
医生建议做Covid Test,Dengue Test，Respiratory Full Panel Assay Test（26 种病原体),
结果全部测验都是Negative。在医院住及治疗了2晚，终于烧也退了，一切也稳定了。可以出院，回家了。
Bill 出来了，总共RM3,772.75，我们没有等AIA Guarantee letter，给了RM600保证金，开开心心地回家。
几天后，难题出来了。
AIA 出了 Guarantee Letter，告诉我们，他们只是负责RM2,454.05，我们需要付RM1,318.70（35%的费用）。
当初买医药卡的时候，讲到AIA的医药卡会飞酱（每次入院只需要付RM300，其他的AIA付）。
但回到现实索赔Claim的时候呢？
AIA给我们的回复是，因为我们的Test是negative，所以没有的Claim。
那么，
病人不幸入院时，
我们要祷告我们的检验结果一定要阳性（postiive）？
在这，我有几个疑惑：
1. 这些检验是医生建议的，难道我们要肯定我们的检验结果一定要是阳性（positive），我们才检验？
2. AIA医药卡，我随时都要有心理准备可能我需要付费一大笔（这次的claim，我付27%的费用）。那么，AIA医药卡是保险？还是一点都不保“险”？

I am writing this article to share my AIA Medical claim
My SON(2 Years Old) have fever and gone to Sunway Velocity Medical Centre Emergency Department.
He was requested to admitted to hospital for treatment.
We took out our AIA medical card and finish all the needed procedure.
My Son fever come and go these few days( The highest temperature is close to 40C)
Doctor advised us to do Covid Test,Dengue Test，Respiratory Full Panel Assay Test
Luckily all test result is negative. We stayed at hospital for 2 nights.
Finally the situation get better and stable.
We can discharge and go back home.
The medical bill is issued with total RM3,772.75.
We not wait for the AIA Guarantee Letter. We paid RM600 deposit and go back home.
After few days, the problem came.
AIA issue Guarantee Letter. AIA only guarantee RM2,454.05,we as patient and insured, we need to pay RM1,318.70(35% of the total bill)
Before we sign for AIA medical card plan, AIA tell us the co-insurance is RM300. Everytimes patient admit to hospital, patient only need to pay RM300.
But how about the situation when come to claim this time??
AIA answered us we can not claim the test cost because our test result is negative.
My question is , shall we pray the result of any test we did is positive, So that we can claim for the bill??
Here, I have few questions:
1. These tests are advised by doctor. So, we must make sure the result of any test is positive before we agree to do test??
2. AIA Medical card, we (insured) need to get ready to pay a big amount when admit to hospital? Then AIA medical card is still protective??
